The Manitoba International Students Health Insurance Plan provides you with coverage to help you pay for health related expenses for yourself and your eligible dependents.

Loss of Life - reimbursement of expenses up to $5,000 for the transport of the deceased to their home city outside of Canada or reimbursement of expenses up to $5,000 for the cremation or burial at the place of death. |

Medical expenses incurred, including:
- physicians' services (including prenatal care)
- surgery & anaesthesia
- x-rays & laboratory services
- dental surgery (when provided in-hospital only)
- chiropractic services
- prosthetic & orthotic devices
- other medical supplies

In Canada but outside Manitoba, medical expenses are limited to the benefits and cost that would have been covered had the treatment been received in Manitoba.
Outside Canada, medical expenses are covered on an emergency only basis and are limited to the benefits and cost that would have been covered had the treatment been received in Manitoba.
In no event will reimbursement exceed the cost of the actual expense provided. |

Maximum benefit payable from the Plan is $600,000 per insured person, per calendar year,
and
Maximum benefit payable per condition is $600,000 during the entire period the person is insured by MISHIP |
