Renewing Coverage
COVERAGE MANAGEMENT
STUDENTS
- Your insurance is effective based on the period of coverage you purchased when you enrolled.
- You must renew your coverage at the beginning of each academic period that your course of study continues. Note, all students must renew coverage September 1st each year as this starts a new Policy Year.
- Please review the information and follow the instructions provided under Enrolling IN THE PLAN - How to Enroll.
- For students who require a Manitoba International Students Health Insurance Application, you may pick up a copy of the application from your school's MISHIP office.
Make sure to indicate that you have been covered under this Plan before and provide your current ID Number on your MISHIP Identification Card.
- Once your application has been processed a NEW MISHIP Identification Card will be sent to your university/school for you to pick up. The new card will indicate the effective date and expiry date of your renewed insurance.
* August 31st is the end of the Policy Year. |
